Our Story

Like many other couples, we found ourselves unexpectedly spending a LOT more time together at home through the summer of 2020. With an increasing amount of time on our hands, and needing to scratch a DIY itch, we started tinkering around with scraps of wood and a sander in our backyard. These little scraps became our first trial-run of wooden stacking stones and soon our kitchen island looked like a mad scientist’s lab with experimental blends of waxes, oils, and dyes. Our four year old son and close family members became our product testers – and just like that our little block making business was born. 

The rest of our story involves a lot of blood*, sweat, and tears, but more on that another time.
